Our Staff

Owner and Operator Mr. Doug Vines is a graduate of Washington Technical Institute. He holds a General Radiotelephone Operators License and is a PCIA certified technician. Opening his doors in 1978, Doug started selling radio equipment to farmers throughout the Columbia Basin. His customers found that the high-powered radios were a much more reliable form of communications over the ever popular Citizen's Band or CB radio . He continues to offer the same service as he did more than 30 years ago, with the help of his staff. Doug has obtained an Avtec System Maintainer Certification and is also certified to service and install Pyramid Communications' Vehicular Repeater systems.

Angela Davis now fills the role of Administrative Assistant, handling accounts payables, accounts receiveables, answering phones and inventory. Angela has worked in similar positions for several years, including for a public entity. She is well versed in the proper operation of the office of a business and has made a very smooth transition into our operations.

Outside Salesman and Systems Technician Joey Weedin has been with Spectrum since late 2011. Joey Holds a Certificate in Information Technology and Communication Systems from Perry Technical Institute, as well as a General Radiotelephone Operator's License with Radar Endorsement, GMRS License and Technician Class Amateur Radio License. He is an Avtec Certified System Maintainer and is certified to service and install Pyamid Communications' Vehicular Repeater systems. With 11 years of experience as a Volunteer Firefighter, 7 of which also as an EMT-B, Joey has extensive working experience with the equipment that he sells, services and installs.

Colton Reeder came to us in July of 2018. Colton has years of experience in technical settings, employing critical thinking skills and excelling with troubleshooting technical situations. Hold holds a GMRS license and a General Class Amateur Radio License. Colton also manages all our in-house IT infrastructure and our fleet of service vehicles.
